Kids safety
Kids are welcome to book. Their safety and privacy always come first.
No visible faces
A child's face may never be visible on LocalBraid. Kids photos must show only the hair, from the back or the side. Photos where a face can be seen are blocked — we never blur or cover faces. Kids videos are not allowed.
Parents approve photos
Braiders must choose the related Kids booking and ask for parent approval before adding a protected photo to their portfolio or the feed. Parents can approve or decline under My account → Photo approvals.
Stay for the appointment
A parent or guardian must stay for the whole appointment. Tell your braider your child's age and how long they can sit comfortably.
Keep identifying details private
Do not include a child's name, school, address or location in a photo, caption or post.
No kids on lives
Children may never appear on a LocalBraid live, even with a parent's permission.
Report a concern
Use Report if a child's face is showing or a child appears on a live. The LocalBraid team prioritizes these reports. Violations mean content removal and removal from LocalBraid.
